EUROMIXER Techweigh™ mix by weight

The Euromixer Techweigh™ incorporates the unique Techweigh automated load monitoring and batching system.

Traditional volumetric mixers use manual calibration data to suggest material gate settings to achieve the desired mix proportions. However the operator can make incorrect gate settings, material sources can differ, and discharge volumes from the conveyor can vary frequently due to the physical nature of the material and variance of bulk densities which can be +/- 15%. The print out on a standard volumetric mixer will only detail what should have been delivered, not what actually has been delivered. Over pouring or under pouring can prove costly in money and reputation.

GKS have taken the volumetric principle, and have uniquely configured the cement and aggregate bins to integrate load cell technology. It is now possible to monitor the drop in weight of the materials discharged in a set volume, and to regulate their rate to ensure an exact mix design. The Euromixer Techweigh™ has in effect become a mobile batching plant.

GKS sees the Euromixer Techweigh™as a new type of machine that can provide assurance and accountability for those producers who view quality control to be paramount. This will enable operators to produce concrete to the same high quality standards associated with QSRMC static batch mixing accredited sources.
