FOAM GENERATORS

The foam generating system has been specifically designed for incorporating into continuous mixing systems using recycled materials to produce low-density foam concrete.

As an example the foam output would be increased for the void filling requiring 28 day strength of 1N/mm2 (redundant petrol tanks etc) and reduced if the machine was filling Utility excavations requiring 2 or 4N/mm2. This effectively increases the amount of foam concrete that can be produced per full load, increasing productivity and reducing haulage costs.

The pre-formed foam is discharged directly into the slave hopper of the mixing auger. The operator can easily vary the amount of foam being produced by simply adjusting the water flow to the generator.

The amount of Zenfoam plus foam concentrate which is required for a particular mix design is automatically adjusted by the system.

The use of foam generators in conjunction with mobile mixing machines is the subject of UK Patent 2344296, and will require an appropriate licence.
